A live techno-DnBs-jazz band based in Amsterdam.
"It’s the year 2199. Most of the world as we knew it is now underwater, and we have been merging humans with computers for a while. You are going to a party—a party of the future. Live music is the only way nowadays for people to keep their humanity alive, for cyborgs to rediscover their lost humanity, or for purely artificial beings to learn how to be human. In any case, partying is like a training program for humanness, like a clinic for coexistence where the artists are the doctors."
philosophy
New technologies in music and social life have optimized this side of the world for DJs. Younger generations want to participate in concert situations—they need to move and interact. Given this scenario, certain genres are struggling to find spaces to play and channels to reach new audiences, and jazz is one of them. Since jazz is my main background, I wanted to do something about it. FEVER was born to conquer the techno stages with highly creative live musicians that make people move and feel.
FEVER and AI
1. SOCIAL IMPACT - by learning how to create music for current generations, whose brains have evolved alongside the rise of AI in social media.
2. CREATIVE INSPIRATION - by drawing inspiration from AI aesthetics in art, exploring the new flavors, textures, sounds, and visuals that AI tools can produce.
3. INTEGRATION FOR PROFESSIONAL LIFE - by integrating AI tools into various aspects of a professional musician’s life (e.g., web design, marketing and social media, administration, event planning and logistics, creative research, accounting...).
4. DIRECT IMPLEMENTATION​ - last but not least, the direct implementation of AI in the music-making process is approached with care and patience. The goal is to maintain focus on my humanity and artistry, rather than getting overwhelmed by the countless possibilities that AI companies are constantly offering musicians.
